With all of the dog breeders out there, it is important to find a reputable one
It is not that all or even most dog breeders are running so-called "puppy farms," but before you buy a dog from a street corner, you should find out more about the breeder. A good breeder will have records that will show birth date, immunization schedules, and other information. If the breeder cannot furnish this information, do not purchase the animal.
With puppies costing $300 - over $800, it is important that you do not purchase an animal with a history of disease, inadequate immunizations, or parasites. Your investment in love could be dead in a few weeks. Make sure you invest in seeing records before you purchase any animal.
If you insist on seeing records to verify immunizations, so that the puppy does not have a disease or parasites, such as heart worms, and check for history of disease or arthritis, your puppy will live a long, happy life with you.
