Help your dog find sanctuary in his or her dog house
Dogs are more complicated than you might think. They need to either be dominated, or the dominator. They also need a place where they can spend time alone. A dog house is a good place to that “alone time” they require, and it is more hospitable than a crate.
Today the doggie domiciles are designed for all manner of inclement weather. There are houses that have a canvas floor, supported over the ground with a heat reflecting roof and walls that let the breeze through for high temperature climates, and there are igloo shaped houses with an offset door to keep the cold wind from blowing straight in for colder areas.
If practicality is not your main concern, there are miniature log cabins for your dog, that do a great job of regulating the heat and cold, no matter what climate you live in. You could even get an air conditioned house for the hot natured pooch. What ever style you choose, your dog will have a comfortable place to call their own, and that is important to them.
