Dog ID tags might save you from posting “Lost Dog” signs later on!
Dog ID tags are small, inexpensive for a simple one, yet can be overlooked in the dog supply purchasing process. But the last thing you want to happen is you bring your new puppy home along with the new dog house, food, and other supplies, then the little pup runs off and without a dog tag. Having one can save you a lot of trouble down the line.
Tags usually have the dog’s name and address and/or phone number on them, as well as other information you’d like engraved. A simple one is fairly cheap – running about $7, but they don’t have to be simple, you can also have one that also serves as an attractive accessory.
Some places like Gucci, make designer tags… but beware, these can run into the hundreds! If you’d like something cute, but don’t want to spend that much on a tag, a number of places offer decorative and even jeweled ones for less than that.
Fashionable accessory or not, it’s just another way to ensure your dog’s safety.
