Dog sweaters are no longer the eccentric indicators they once were
Once, only old ladies with blue hair and shawls owned little dogs that wore clothing, but more recently supermodels and infamous party kids are showing up all over the scene with small dogs in dog sweaters. You see it everywhere, small dogs in malls, in train stations, and hanging from car windows.
There is an up and coming industry in designer accessories for small dogs. There are bags for the tiny pooches that resemble handbags. These bags come in all styles from mesh for those warmer days, to leather with fur lining for those colder days in winter.
The most interesting items are in the clothing department. There are spring jackets, sweaters, t-shirts, tank tops, boots, and even life jackets for those sea dogs. There are even high class stores devoted to selling outfits for both dog and master that match. Imagine walking down the street with your pooch peeking from a leather handbag, wearing a hat that matches yours exactly.
