Dog treats are an integral part of making your dog behave
Dog training is a series of punishment and reward systems, where bad behavior id punished and good behavior is rewarded. The punishment ranges from a guttural growl to electric shock. The reward system, however, is always the same: a pat on the head, high words of encouragement and a treat. I guess dogs are like men, and the way to their heart is through their stomach.
Some dogs are finicky eaters and may not like regular dog treats. That is why there are so many different flavors and styles of bites, snaps, treats, and snacks. There are chunks that resemble steak, and strips that look like and purportedly taste like bacon, even snacks that are shaped like little fried eggs.
With all of this variety, how can your dog not feel extra special after accomplishing a good deed? Sure, most of the visual hype such as bacon and egg shaped treats are for the owner, but be assured the bacon and egg taste really works. After all, a dog never jumps around for regular dog food as they do when you are carrying a piece of bacon.
