Everyone has that special pet, and that is why there are pet memorials
Once every so often, that special pet comes along. It greets you happily in the morning and sees you to bed every night. It is your best friend. All of your friends know its name, and its daily goings on for that matter. We have all had them. They deserve a tribute to the loyalty and happiness they so freely give.
Pet memorials are the best way to pay tribute to your friend as it deserves. Some people say that there will be no animals in heaven, but my heaven will be filled with friendly animals. I believe if you care enough about your pet, it will be waiting for you to keep you company in the afterlife.
You, most likely, spend eight to ten hours a day at work; the rest is considered "leisure" time. Think about how much time at home is spent with your pet. Your pet is probably in your life or at your feet while you watch television, sleep, and check your email. If you think about it, you probably spend more time with your pet than any "person." I think that merits proper recognition upon its final slumber.
